Quotes:

Scott Wimmer looking toward the Dollar General 300:

“I’m excited to get back in the Duraflame Ford.  It’s been a few weeks since I ran over here and I’m anxious to get started.  We’ve had a pretty good year together but the first Charlotte race was definitely a low point.  I wrecked a car testing out here the week before the race and then wrecked the primary during practice.  I definitely didn’t make life too easy for these Brewco Motorsports guys.  But other than that first Charlotte race we’ve had mostly real solid runs.  I know Newt Moore and these guys have a real good car here this weekend.  This team is way overdue for a win and we’re going to do everything we can to get one this weekend.

Scott Wimmer on racing at NASCAR’s home track:

“It’s always good to race close to home.  Humpy Wheeler and his staff have done a great job of keeping this track fan-friendly and the turnout is always incredible.  It’s fun being here because we’ve got a lot of friends and family that are able to come out.  There’s just something about being in the racing capital.  It’s always real exciting.”
